The Young researcher’s office

Missions & actions

The Society for Neuroscience created the Young Researcher’s Office with the aim of participating in the training of Young Researchers.

The office’s mission is to guide young neuroscientists in their careers, inform them, and debate societal issues related to research.

To this end,the Young Researcher’s Office organizes special sessions at the NeuroFrance meeting which address themes put forward the Young Researcher community: how to build a research team, how to pursue a career in academia, research outside the university, the environmental impact of research, diversity and equality, and so on.

Building on the success of these sessions, NeuroMentoring sessions are organized 3-4 times a year. These remote sessions are open to all French Neuroscience Society members, both in France and abroad. These sessions take the form of round-table discussions, with contributions from board members and external speakers.
