{"id":2378,"date":"2015-09-18T10:24:13","date_gmt":"2015-09-18T09:24:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.neurosciences.asso.fr\/en\/soutiens-2\/prix-de-these-appel-a-candidature-2016\/"},"modified":"2023-02-01T11:06:24","modified_gmt":"2023-02-01T09:06:24","slug":"prix-de-these-appel-a-candidature-2016","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.neurosciences.asso.fr\/en\/training-career\/prix-de-these-appel-a-candidature-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"PhD Thesis awards &#8211; Call for application"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The French Neuroscience Society offers PhD Thesis awards, of 1000 \u20ac each, for a PhD work performed in France.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applicants must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>be member of the French Neuroscience Society and be up to date with their membership fees (including for the year of the\u00a0 thesis defense),<\/li>\n<li>have defended their thesis between January 1st and December 31st, 2022,<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.neurosciences.asso.fr\/mespages\/theses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">have posted information<\/a> related to their thesis on the website of the Society.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To be complete, the application must include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a cover letter (3 000 characters, spaces included) describing briefly the candidate\u2019s profile and the research accomplishments, the novelty and interest of his\/her work for the field of Neuroscience.<\/li>\n<li>a brief curriculum vitae (one page maximum, pdf format) including information on education (indicate if the diplomas were obtained with honours), a list of publications (original\/review articles) and\/or communications at meetings (indicate if the contributions were presented as oral communications or posters), and the professional project. Mention, if applicable, the prizes and\/or funding obtained during the thesis.<\/li>\n<li>a description of the candidate\u2019s research work during the PhD and a few lines about the professional project (3-4 pages maximum).
