Mouse Or Men

Mice or Men?

Visit this booth on level 0 near auditorium Einstein.

Biological psychiatry aims to discover cellular mechanisms underlying psychiatric disorders to improve their diagnosis and treatments. To tackle this challenge, one can use animal model of a disease which share similar behavioral traits with the patients. Thus, to apply this translational approach in behavioral neurosciences, investigators are used to adapt behavioral tasks originally designed for human, to animal models such as rodents.
But what would happen if we could challenge a human in a rodent behavioral task without any explicit content? What would be his/her performances? To help us answering these questions, please join us at our booth to slip into a mouse’s coat for 10 minutes and enter in our behavioral box.
This coming event has been sponsored by our partners: the ITMO Neurosciences, cognitive sciences, neurology, psychiatry and the BIO-PSY (Biology for Psychiatry) Labex. Their representatives will be present at our booth to present their activities.
