Proposition :
The University of Bordeaux 2 and the CNRS are inviting applications for a tenured Assistant Professor (Maitre de conférence) appointment in the fields of neuroscience and bioimaging. We are seeking highly qualified candidates who are committed to a career in research and teaching. The successful candidate will conduct research on the plasticity of synapses in the mammalian central nervous system, using and advancing superresolution live-cell imaging approaches. He/she will become an integral member of the group Synaptic Plasticity and High Resolution Imaging recently installed in the Life Sciences Department at the University of Bordeaux 2. The ability to work independently and collaboratively is required. The successful individual will benefit from state-of-the-arts intrastructure and a thriving neuroscience community. He/she will become beneficiary of the recent Chaire of Excellence program jointly organised by the University and the CNRS, which includes attractive conditions in terms of funding, teaching and salary.
